About Us

Since opening my dealership in 1987, I've always been a “Hands On” type of manager. Please feel free to give me a call directly with any questions and concerns. My simple business philosophy: hire and train the best people, sell the best products and always provide the best service. Please let me know how I’m doing. Favorite Honda Products: Goldwing, Rincon ATV and the new Honda Pioneer Side by Side Utility Vehicle. Hobbies/Interests: Following the kids everywhere! Husker football, motorcycle rides, golf, working on our new acreage, snowmobiling and all sports.

28 years and still growing!! Here at Rod's Power Sports, we are locally owned and operated and provide products to make your outdoor living easier and more enjoyable. Rod Yanagida started the business in 1987 as a John Deere Consumer Products dealership. Honda power equipment was added in 1992 and Honda motorcycles, scooters and ATV's were added in 1996. In 2003, the equipment lines of John Deere, Toro, Stihl and others were sold to another business and Rod turned his full attention to Honda Motorsports products and became a single brand Honda "PowerHouse" dealership. We are now Nebraska's largest volume Honda motorsports dealership and the states only Level 5 Honda "PowerHouse" dealership. We offer a huge selection of new and pre-owned, fair prices and a factory trained professional and dedicated staff to make your Honda riding experience the best it can possibly be. Another big portion of our business is Featherlite Trailer sales. We carry more Featherlite Horse, Livestock, Car and Utility trailers than anyone in Nebraska. Call or stop in today and see what we can do for you; you'll be glad you did.

Owners, Rod and Lisa Yanagida; February 2008, this picture taken of the Northern coast of the "Big Island" of Hawaii. We were very fortunate to win this "Top 100" Honda dealer award trip for our sales efforts in 2007. Thanks to all of the efforts of our great staff and many great customers. Lisa and Rod greatly appreciated both the Maui trip in 2004 and the Big Island in 2008, courtesy of American Honda.
